Features

The shape looks like a top of round shape, and colored violet upper part of turnip. It taste sweetish and ginseng of pepper odor, and it also tastes the root of cabbage.

  • Won the grand prize at Kimchi festival in Gwangju Biennial in 1995.
  • Awarded the prize of the Ministry of Agriculture Department in the 1997 Kimchi Fair.
  • Source of Origin : Afganistan and West south region of Europe.
  • Origin : Originated in the semi temperate zone of siberia and Europe and in our country it was brought in from china and cultivated from the age of three nations in about AD 5 century. This is recorded in the book of "Dongei-bogam oriental medicine."
