
Iron Bell of Jeondeungsa Temple
This bell was iron-cast at Sungmyeongsa temple of Sumuhyeon, Hoeju in 1097, north part of China, the 2nd year of King Gojong of Goryo dynasty.
During world war II, the Japanese army pillaged the bell and took it to Bupyeong arsenal to melt and make weapon.
After the war was over, Buddist believer found the bell and brought it back to Jeondeungsa temple, present location
