Five-story Stone Pagoda in Jangjeong-ri, Ganghwa
This is a regular stone pagoda consisted of stylobate, pagoda-bodies and roof stones.
On the body of pagoda there is a roof stone, Okgaeseok, and the base of Okgaeseok is made up of 3 or 4 layers which are irregular form. At present, there are 4 layers of Tapsin body and 4 layers of Okgaeseok roof stone, but top part is now in missing.
It is presumed the pagoda was built some time in Goryeo era and the original one was repaired and has been maintained up to date. In the area of pagoda, the Bongeunsa temple might be once existed there but the former temple is completely vanished but today the ruins seen there only.
