Main Buddha Hall of Jeongsusa Temple, Ganghwa
It was first called Jeongsusa which means clear the body and mind, when it was built by a Priest Hoejeong seonsa in the 8th year of Queen Seondeok (AD 639) and later it was changed the meaning of the name as clean water because fresh water was sprung up at the east side of the temple when it was rebuilt by saint priest Hamheo daesa in 1426.
Construction of sanctum hall followed the pattern of Jusimpo(an architectural style) that two of the same style of one-story house are faced each other.
The house had 3 rooms in front and 4 rooms aside.
